Cypriot Wine: Amathus

I was at Andreases' bar/restaurant in 'The Square' at Tersefanou last night for a meal and champions league football when he turned up trumps with the wine again!
This time, a Vintage 2006 called Amathas produced by Leol Ltd of Limassol and made from Grape varieties Palomino blanco and Muscat of Alexandria.
The wine is produced under the most ideal conditions by the application of the control fermentation technique and then kept in air-conditioned underground cellars at 15°C. In this way the wine keeps it's freshness and fruity character for a long time.
Certainly, both Mrs Horswill's enjoyed it! And my mother is 78 years young!
Wine characteristics:
Color: Water white with yellow tint
Smell: Characteristic of the variety, fruity
Taste: Smooth and pleasant
How and when to serve?
Serve at temperatures 8-12°C. The wine will develop significantly after being open for 1-2 hours.
Amathus is a perfect accompaniment to good wholesome food in particular white meat dishes or tuna steaks and salmon.
